2nd Annual ITSA Film Festival!

The 2nd Annual ITSA Film Festival is currently accepting submissions for short films, animations and music videos.

The ITSA Film Festival, sponsored in part by the Yosemite Chamber of Commerce, Tuolumne County Film Commission, Hotel Charlotte, Sabre Design and Disenchanted Productions, takes place in Tuolumne County in Groveland and Sonora (only 3 hours from the Bay Area and only 25 miles from Yosemite NP).

This 2-day event is a close drive to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Central California, Sacramento, Twain Harte, Columbia, Soulsbyville, Pine Crest, Sonora and Groveland.

On Gala Night, September 30, 2011, ITSA is screening the 2011 Emerging Cinematographer Awards (ECA) Honoree Films and one of these films stars Jason Alexander.

And on the second day of the festival, film-goers and filmmakers can screen films at 2 venues are take in a workshop at the Sonora Inn in downtown Sonora. Out of the 40+ films that are showing, several are world premieres and star major actors and actresses.

Over 300 movies and television series have been filmed in Tuolumne County including High Noon, Little House on the Prairie, Back to the Future 3 and many more. So the history lends itself to an enjoyable film festival.
